The Carrot We Chase

It's not always happy
To be a working stiff,
Putting-up with crappy
Situations, wondering if
You can scramble and survive
The politics in the hive...

But it sure reduces the tension,
When you qualify for your pension.

    Yes the hope of the pension that keeps me going but with the driving up of the retirement age I just hope I will still have the energy to enjoy it.
