The sweat and tears,
All subsumed within,
A maritime tradition,
Which, eats you up
And spits you out,
Before you know
What it's all about,
The ships will sail
With or without you,
Complain to no avail,
It's all bigger you see,
Life's work absorbed,
Underway into futility...
