Protected from the weather chaos outside
Where cold and wet have joined to cause
Temporary misery, it's nice to be able hide,
And appreciate the peace, as the minutes flow
By warmly, in my electrically-powered
Cube-space of shelter, where the slow
Progress of another day, free of workday
Hassles, proceeds without stress, although
It all hangs on a thin lucky string,
That's why this feeling is such a wonderful thing.
