Smiles, forced-fun, all around...
Expensive, gaudy clothes,
Pressed, smooth, and prim...
The only wrinkles
Are on the faces.
(2) A guest at a formal party,
In a crowded part of the room,
Holding full tea cups in both hands...
Sneezes violently
(With kinetic results)...
Minor social chaos ensues.
(3) Awoken suddenly
From an exhausted sleep
By the ring-tone beep
Of the cell phone
Still held in my right hand.
